It is weird how that is comfy, but your so right, she can lay like that anywhere and look tarty yet comfy.
She does not take after her mum!!!!

Well Luz, I wake up nearly every morning with Rianna in that 'pose'

I have a theory (which has no scientific basis) which says that with big dogs this must take all the weight of their legs and must therefore be good for the joints especially the hips which (as we all know) are often a problem with bigger dogs in latter life.

Lying like that certainly does them no harm and it also shows a high level of security and contenment, again IMO no dog who was not happy and feeling safe would lie like that

Great pic, think Losos may have a point Ollie loves to lay on his back, he can't manage for long though without the support of his basket.

Totally agree Losos. Someone even mentioned its a good for their spine in lengthening it.
