I would never take an inseason bitch to an open show with mixed classes because its unfair (imo) and wouldn't take her to ANY show in full bloom. All it takes is for one numpty to let go of their randy dog If she was just coming in or almost out, i don't see too much of a problem.

my first time at Crufts with a homebred dog was spoilt by the numpty benched next to me who had a bitch in full season and openly sprayed her with anti mate before she went in the ring.
