Problems with my dog pulling

He's just going upto 10 months now and he seems to be getting worse every time i take him out the house, we've got hatlis and canny collars that we use on my girl dog that is actually his mother she walks fine with them on, but kaiser doesn't he just lies down on doesn't budge, and when i give him a little tug by the lead he just bolts up into the air trying to get it off.

We've also tried the walk another way thing but that doesn't help either as we live in a small village and it doesn't matter which way you go he knows his way home.

The only thing that seems to help is putting the leader under one of his front legs but this seems a little cruel and i don't like doing it.

Any help/suggestions will be great.

Hi Tinnie here are a few ideas in a similar thread.
Dogs pull to get where they are going, it is not normal behaviour for them to be on a lead walking at the same pace of humans and it takes time and patience to teach some dogs to walk quietly

Does your dog know what is "free" time and what is "working" time?

I take my dog out on free time for the first 10 minutes then I say "working".

I do think that you need to go to obedience classes.

Obedience classes really train the owners - rather than their dogs.

Most dogs really want to be directed.

Most of the time, they love to have someone who will give the command.

Most dogs are not leaders - they would rather follow.
