I'm actually really excited as I planted bulbs in all my pots this year - freesias and four other flowers (can't remember what now - twit that I am I threw the packaging away). Can't wait to see them grow whatever they are

The hanging baskets are being done next weekend, and I think it will probably be "lizzies" as I love the colours and they spread like wildfire, so just 2 or 3 go a long way

Totally agree Karen. I have two wooden tubs in the front garden which I fill with lizzies. People walking past often comment

trailing lobelia, surfinia petunias, verbena and the old faithful, geraniums

Might get some lizzies now too.

If like me you hadn't planted seeds in time for the baskets, the large B&Q we got our slate chippings from were doing a tray of 24 bedding plants for £4, and 3 trays for a £10. Enough for a wonderful summer display

I've got strawberries in a large tub, then have planted a packet of seeds that's called Seeds for Bees and are designed to attract bee's for pollination.

Also got tomatoes plants in tub in the greenhouse, peppers in tubs and chilli's all in the greenhouse.

Oh and sunflowers but they will be transferred to the main bed at some point.

Probably not supposed to grow half those things in tubs but they're all doing well so far!

Wilkinsons `15 plants for a fiver` in the window boxes & baskets. The tubs have a weird and wonderful selection of stuff including Sea Holly, lavender, a Cardoom, lillies and roses, a Bottlebrush plant and a philodendron.
