My dogs and cats have always slept in my room some slept on the bed some didn't their choice

Present dog used to sleep upstairs but as he is getting elderly and a bit shakey at times I decided to move him downstairs before he couldn't manage the stairs or worse still fell down them. Even although I have the company of the cats I really miss him he was a grand hot water bottle

Mind you things can get a bit ridiculous

Thanks, everyone. I know I should make them get down, but I usually don't have the heart. The things we do for their comfort!

Two good examples of our kitty days. Tootie my ginger boy was born on my chest many years ago. His mother was young and afraid so she labored on the bed while we slept. I woke up to an orange newborn wriggling on my chest...drenched in kitty fluid I might add.
Then there was Boo who we still have. She purred me to sleep for several years and I would wake to her nose to nose with me.
