And YET another Dog horror story

Sorry no paper cutting as it has just come on the radio news.........

Man in Aston Birmingham has been banned from keeping dogs as he has been found guilty of....

Keeping his Rotti in a small cage for TWO years not letting it out and feeding it ......ALMOST every day if he could

He also has a 3 month curfew

Why have a dog if it can never get out of a cage.....not like it's walked, can protect the property, can sleep on the sofa, or by the fireside, can not be trained, only gets fed AMOST every day if they guy can get food or afford it.

I say treat them with the same contempt

ps....hasn't said whats happened to the Rotti

I agree with you and HM that people who are cruel to animals and Children and hit women are cowards and it must be the only way they can make themselves feel hard. Put them in a room with someone who would treat them the same and they would be sh***ing themselves and beging for mercy.
Hope that poor dog has been rehomed.

Sounds like a happy ending.
However, I think it was the Dogs Trust who did a survey and found that one in 10 dogs are never taken for a walk, that amounts to some 700,000 dogs. On top of that a third of dogs were only taken out a couple of times a week. So som 43% of dogs are either never or only occasionally taken for a walk. That's millions of dogs who don't get the proper care they should.
