Calke Abbey (BCs and gundogs)

I went a walk with Leanne_W and her dogs this morning at Calke Abbey.

Starting off.....
Flynn, Teg and Hocus

My two monsters

Jed, Flynn, Teg and Jessie

Hokie Pokie Pie (current nickname)

What Jed thinks of me taking pics

I keep telling people he is EVIL!!!!

Sweetcorn growing

Whos nose do you think this is?!

My darlings fell in a load of cow sh*t, it had collected in a dip in the ground and the sun had made a crust on top so they thought they could walk on it

Just be glad you can't smell them!

So they were swiftly chucked in a pond

Much cleaner and fresher smelling

Jessie

Jed

I made him rest a little while which he wasnt impressed with

Teg

Flynn

Jessie

Pouncing after Flynn

Flynn likes to play wind up the collies by barking at them...

Hocus getting a little too close

Neither had learnt their lesson!

They were supposed to be having a drink

Not associating with the riff raff!

Then there were two

Shake!

Tegs face made me laugh

On our way back to the car

And group shots to finish

Hope you enjoyed

Lovely photos.

Calke Abbey is such a beautiful place. We visited last year when on a short break.

You know how to keep a person waiting, i've been checking all day!

I think my fave is the one of Hocus in the grass towards the end, and you managed to get the group shot when Jessie wasnt looking so brow beaten! Must've been my magical treat waving!

Excellent photos as always, seriously need to get myself a good camera!

I have to say it's one of my favourite places to walk Lynn, just wish there were slightly less people that thought the same!

I had 190 pics to look through and choose from, took time, plus mum wouldn't let me play on my laptop through dinner!
I like the two above the grass one, Flynns nose and the group ones are good, Definately was down to your treat waving, good job I couldn't see you or I would have been too busy laughing to take pics!

That looks a fantastic walk and what a gorgeous bunch of dogs you have. I love all the photos, and especially the second to last posing one - where the whole gang are sat up. Lovely

Ahh the K formation as it will now be forever called.

Looks like a lovely walk and if it wasn't for the livestock I would've loved to have joined you. And the small matter of getting there of course.

I found myself smiling through each of the pictures. Katie you have a talent for showing the dogs true natures in a single shot.

I dont think we actually saw any livestock today, they must've been in a corner of the park somewhere, or other surrounding fields.
