Lateste Update on Mum

Well mum had her full body scan today and the news is extremely promising.

Apart from the obvious discomfort in her spine it appears that all blood/enzyme etc tests have all come back clear and the only remainiong problem seems to be stones in the bile duct in the bit of her Gall bladder they left in when she had it "removed"

For the last 2 weeks any time I have spoken to her she has sounded really down and tirerd and just fed up, tonight she sounded a bit brighter and she said she had been soi worried that she had cancer. So I guess it was a huge relief when the consultant said to her today that he could see nothing sinister, but he unbderstood why this "infected" bit of her gall bladder could be causing so much pain and discomfort.

So hae to say I breathed a huge sigh of relief too, it will definitely nean another op, but not till her back has healed a bit, however she even said herself that she can just about bear the pain knowing that its not "fatal" (her words)
