Sister starts 1st lot of chemo today.

Hopefully this will shrink the tumour ready for hysterectomy,so another two sessions after today then op then another 3 sessions.Hopefully then she will be out of the woods. It seems to of been a long time coming.

I've got everything crossed that your sister responds well to the treatment and that she soon starts to feel better in herself. As you say, once the operation has been done and she continues the chemo, she is over the main hurdle and should start winning the battle.

Big hugs for all of you.

Sheree x

Ok I think haven't actually spoken to her yet,her session was meant to start 10.30am.she sent me a txt at 12.30pm still hadn't gone in could I let Mum know as Mum panics, would be expecting phone call from her and when not getting one worrying.
I then sent txt at about 5.30pm as still no news asking how she was doing Gill replied about 15 mins later was leaving in 5 mins. She must of been exhausted she had been there since about 10.00 am and she is in so much pain has a long car journey and then had to sit around all those hours waiting, makes me cross how people so seriously ill are treated sometimes. These people who go for this are not feeling in the best of health. Will get to talk to her later today, she won't be cross though just takes it all.So hoping she is feeling ok.
Thankyou for all the kind thoughts everyopne.
