Aaaaarrrrrrgggggghhhhhh!!!!!!!!

Just had a phonecall from the greyhound rescue. Evie has come into season today so cannot go and be spayed tomorrow.
Which means a longer wait for her now. Still at least she is worth it.
I think from what she is saying that we can have her when she finishes her season then they will arrange for her to go into a vets near me and be spayed, so it will only be an extra week to wait for her .
Roll on end of Febuary, somehow I think this month is going to drag.
I thought things were going to smoothly for me!

You know what they say about the best laid plans Bev

At least this way she will have a chance to settle in with you after her season and then have her op when you're ready. xx

It's bound to all come together in the end then you can all settle down and get to know each other

Couldn't agree more. Just a wee while longer...she'll be worth the wait.

See the bright side. If she had gone a day before that season, chances are that her hormone levels would have been all over the place and many dogs are left with permanent behaviour problems as a result.

This way, you can give her the optimum 12-13 weeks after season when her hormones will be stable and the results will be much better for her.

Can't offer anything to make the wait more bearable though. I hate waiting for anything

I know and I agree all good things are worth waiting for and it is best she came into season today rather than have been about to have her season the day after she was spayed. I knew everything was going to smoothly for me.
I keep telling myself 3 weeks is not long to wait, but it is when your waiting so impatiently.
