Extraordinary dogs

Anybody watch tonight's episode on channel 5? Just finished and was really good with some amazing dogs especially a hairless chinese crested that was a hearing dog to a profoundly deaf woman in Essex. Next weeks episode look really good as well which includes a border collie being trained with sheep.
Love this series.

I would love to watch it but we avoid all dog programmes. Pepsi goes bananas, chasing the dogs around the TV

Oh what a shame - it is a lovely programme. Need to put a blindfold and earmuffs on Pepsi for half an hour

Yes it was great-very moving to see the differences these specially trained dogs make in the lives of people, especially the JRT "Bingo" with the little boy with sleep apnea.

My late Dad was profoundly deaf and I wish these dogs had been about when he first was deafened (by a bomb when he was 50) as people used to think he was standoffish or rude when he didn't reply to them as deafness is quite a hidden disability.

He-he I know what you mean as I used to get Jamie to take the dogs in the study when any dog training programmes were on. Now "The adventures of Sherlock Holmes" is Parker's favourite tv programme as he likes to bark at all the horses!
