Off to work in an hour ...to find out if I'm being made redundant today.

Worked there almost a year, the shop hasnt been doing too well , but head office have been sneaky telling us weeks ago a bloke was coming out to do an insurance evaluation. When he turned up he told us the owners (the company i work for) were thinking of selling up.

2 other shops have been given redundancy packages & 30 days notice, at the beginning of the week...& now we've been told the MD is coming today to see us...WELL i tell a lie , we werent supposed to know, but our manager is fantastic & would never keep something like that from us. 2 girls on days off today have been told to attend...

Soooooo vibes please guys, i cant afford to be out of work.

Oh Bev, talk about it never rains huh! Sending everything I've got that something good comes out of this if you're right about that redundancy, maybe they might offer you something better elsewhere, or maybe you might be offered a better job elsewhere out of the blue or summat.

We know the feeling in this house Gorden was made redundant last october and we found out in the July it is not a nice feeling and very worrying. We had never had anything like this happen to us before and his job were very surprised it happened at all.

Hoping it isn't what you are thining or that whoever buys your boss out keeps you on. X
