rose trees

Ok my neighbour is a bit of a joker , and is always haven me on , today he recommended putting a banana skin in the soil of jukes rose tree .
I just wondered if anyone else has heard of this .
He reckons the nutrients in the banana skin is great for rose trees .

Yes very true I have lots of roses but I have never used the banana skins my grandmother did though and it worked for her let us know how you get on xx

Banana skin is also good for shining leather shoes and cleaning/shining plant leaves, brilliant for things like cheese plants

Absolutely - I always make sure they go into my compost bin and my friend uses them in her wormery!

Did you know that a banana just before you go to bed will help you to sleep?
