I have a female friend who eats nothing but McDonalds. She is stunning and seems fit, but clearly it can't be good for her!

The best way to find it is to phone around the small independent pet food suppliers and have it delivered. Or try asking around - anyone who owns hunting/working gun dogs has usually heard of it Lot of people whogo lamping (no Im not encouraging it..) use it too.

Two or three suppliers here but its a bit too far away from you

Can I just suggest a downside to feeding good quality dog food? Poor Cherry was rushed back to the specialist vets at Newmarket on Thursday and they have kept her in. I didn't think to take any of her normal dog food in as I wasn't thinking straight in the stress of it all and the vet has said she hasn't been eating. When she went in for her cataract op I bagged her food up and took in for her to have whilst she was an inpatient.

Jamie said he could imagine her looking at whatever dog-food they gave her and saying "You expect me to eat that!! I get home-cooked food at home!"

Hahaa - I can just imagine her looking with disgust in the crate and looking around with that "I'm too good for this" attitude That's the thing with Sadie - except biscuits at her house - she will eat whatever I put down for her and if she doesn't she knows she has to wait til the next day before her next lot - basically it's eat or starve, however I tried her on raw kidney the other day -

Dogs LOVE food...its a big part of their enjoyment in life. It saddens me to think of a poor wee dog having to eat what they are given, or starve.... Sorry, just my opinion....

But doing it that way stops her from being faddy. And thats how my Granddad did it, his dad before him, his dad before him and so on and so forth. It's like saying that you object to set feeding times where you put it down for so long and if they don't eat it then it gets took up. It's like a child who wants chocolate every day for dinner and plays up when they don't get it - manipulation on the animal/childs end IMO

Thats the bag of food in that photo but thats not their site. They have a link there though. The food is not advertised for online sale on their (cobbydog) site but you could call them.
