Morning All (Thursday)

Morning all,

My new lady went sick yesterday……. I’m hoping it’s just bad timing. Apparently, she’ll be in today, come hell or high water. We shall see.

Consequently, a fairly busy day yesterday, but not so busy that I couldn’t get home for a sarny and a nice cup of tea. Chicken, crispy bacon and mayo on freshly made white (I hate brown) bread – fab!

Hopefully, I can get home again today, but there’s no chicken left…….. maybe I’ll just have some toast…

Today’s gem:
Three very macho mice are standing around trying to outdo each other. The first mouse says, "You know those little pellets they put out around the house trying to poison us? I love those things. I eat 'em like candy." The second mouse, not to be outdone says, "Oh yeah? Well, you know those mousetraps they put out to try to catch us? What I do is get on the trap, grab the cheese, and then flip over onto my back, and when the steel bar comes swinging down I grab it and do bench presses with it." The third mouse says, "You guys are really a couple of tough mice, and I'd love to keep hangin' out with you here, but I gotta go sh*g the cat."

got a nice cold at the moment - willing to share if anyone is interested. got a busy day going shopping asda and lidls, taking the perscription pile to the chemist, walk blackie and then collect dylan from school.

spent yesterday afternoon varnishing chairs......all good fun here.

Busta managed to have a good rest yesterday but also went out after dinner....yes you guessed it, i will be looking for him again this morning as i know he wont come in the house on his own with Ruby here 1 step forward........

I'm off to the vets with Milo this morning for a blood test, but hopefully I will have good news from that and find he has been worrying me for nothing .

Morning all, brr cold but gorgeous here, frosty and sunny, I love weather like this.

Went to Gretna yesterday took two buses and such a lovely journey very relaxing and views of Scottish hills gorgeous, spent too much in the Gateway though, its a designer outlet, woops x
