As the fish had died and the fish tank has been binned, I decided to get rid of the modern wall unit and change to
(before)

This................(after) with just the small lamp on




and making use of my old wishing chair, which a lovely elderly lady gave me years back

what do you really think Be honest

Am very sorry about your fish and think you've made a very good choice, looks lovely n cosy and that you have the special chair,love the wood burner too

I think it looks really nice! Love the antique style cabinets. The shorter one in the left corner looks very much like one my mum used to have!

A million percent improvement you are accommodating the house now rather than fashion. Working to your homes strength....like the wallpaper too.
Although the paint in the alcoves appears to be changing in
Pic 2 it appears a nice mellow yellow.
Pic 3 & 4 & 6 it appears blue and in
Pic 5 it appears green

Awwww thanks....yes I had my 2 fish approx 9 years, Frank and Pat but once Frank went Pat never really had any spirit and followed not long after
