Not a good start to the day

Morning

My OH dropped me at the bus stop this morning and then took the dogs out to the park, on his way back he was involved in a car accident he pulled out and didnt see the other car speeding along and went into the side of her.

Dogs are ok, OH is very shaken and shocked. Not too much damage to the car may need a new bumber.

So not a good start to the day for me.

Yep, years ago when I had a car accident with me and the girls in the car, I phoned Pete crying that i'd crashed the car, and his first words to me were " sod the car it's a piece of metal and can be replaced, as long as you and the girls are ok thats all that matters"
Fingers crossed it's not too expensive for you to get repaired though.

Thanks everyone. My dad has gone to my house and he said the dogs are fine but the car is an absolute mess alot worse than my OH has told me, basically the front of the car and the wing has been pushed in and the bumber and number plate half off, dad says he was lucky not to turn over. Looks like we will have no car for a while.

I wish i could help to sort things out with insurance etc but cars are not my dealings with wouldnt know where to start.
