Shrove Tuesday-pancakes How Do You Eat Yours?

Hi Everyone,

its Shrove tuesday today and kids are looking forward to there pancakes just wondered how you all liked yours?

we have ours with Corned beef hash and then as a dessert total blowout

Thomas likes his with chocolate spread

Matthew likes his with Golden Syrup

I like mine with a little bit of lemon juice and a sprinkling of sugar

and hubby likes everything human dustbin

do you flip them or do you turn them with a spatula its a game every year in our house to see who can get the the highest

HAPPY PANCAKE DAY ALL

I'd forgot about that..... might have to do some for breakfast.... nice drizzle of golden syrup sounds good.

My fav though is with icecream and hot toffee sauce drizzled over

fresh fruit and ice cream with grappa's good (a Italian liquor) poured over the top no good for breakfast though

Teaspoon of sugar,and a dash of lemon

with fresh strawberries and ice cream yum

With a sprinkle of sugar Can't have lemon....Yuk!

sweet and sour yum... my favourite

I like mine with maple syrup, cream and Ice-cream.

I forgot pancake day, I'm off then to go get some flour and milk and lard and lemon and sugar (got plenty of eggs) I lurve pancakes!

When I was nursing, I once treated a little girl in casualty who had flipped a pancake, it landed on her arm and she was badly burned. When my Granddaughter started secondary school and made new friends, she brought one home one day, and low and behold it was the same little girl,grown up We often laugh about it as I reminder her not to flip pancakes.
