Just went out for a lovely meal...

Just came back from a lovely local restaurant called Chamberlains. Gorgeous food and lovely atmosphere a 5 minute walk from the house.
OH had chicken breast stuffed with mandarins and profiterole cake and I had steak on mustard mash with a red wine sauce and strawberry pavlova for dessert.
Couple of glasses of wine and all for £40.00. What great value. Will definitely be going back.,

Sounds lovely! Don't know about the chicken stuffed with mandarins though.
Do you have a local site you can recommend them to?
Here our local bbc radio station have the salt and pepper awards to recommend good eating places. It's great to find a little gem you've never thought of trying before.

....and here's me, on a diet, in the food section!

OH said the chicken was beautiful. No, don't think there's a local site here to recommend them to. It was lovely though. Open plan kitchen and only about 15 tables, really relaxing atmosphere and owners were fab.
