So pleased to hear that Fred is doing so well - fingers crossed that there will be good results from the biopsy.

Thank you everyone, Fred had his wound check last night, we have to bathe around the wound with salt water twice a day but apart from that it's looking good. Got to take him back on Monday so they can see how it's looking and his results should be back by then too. Honestly you wouldn't believe he's 7 when I take him to the vets, he acts like a giddy pup! He loves going there, the girls on the desk always make a fuss of him.
xx

good news!!! The vet has phoned, Fred's lump results are back it was a histiocytoma, I'm so pleased. Although it may mean I put him through an op he didn't need as his last one went away on it's own but as it was bleeding etc the vet said it was best to get it off anyway where it was.

His ear has been bothering him a little bit but vet said as it's healing it will itch so just keep cleaning it twice a day with salt water.

Will update after vet visit on Monday

xx

Great news that it was nothing sinister lurking in his lughole, better safe than sorry.

Brilliant news & salt water is a very old traditional wound treatment as it mimics the serum in his blood
