I daresay she finds things easier with the modifications, but she doesn't need them, as such. I'm sure she loves the new kitchen (£6000) they've put in, and the wierdo toilet that washes your butt after you've had a s***, but they are not vital for her.

This story about the house having been assessed for her too is just a b---s--- story thrown up by the SW Dept. to make them look better. Neither I nor Mrs. S have heard it before - you can be sure that if Mrs. S had known, she'd have hurled it in my face ages ago.

This is the result of the one mistake the MSP has made: letting the Department investigate itself, then accepting the result.

Here we are, three months later, still no farther forward. Mrs. S has cut off the landline, or changed the number, so I have to try her mobile - which tells her who's calling - she sees it's me, so she ignores it.

The Council is now trying to evict me from the place they put me in, but my lawyer has managed to stop them (at a cost oƒ £160 per hour )

I just want to go home.
