Its all routine stuff really Moyra, cars need tyres, exhausts and brakes, now I've never had to get an exhaust before for it and never had to have the brakes done. Tyres, I think I'm on my 3rd in as many years (different wheels obviously), so not that bad really, and I don't pay for petrol just LPG and about £20 a month or so for petrol, so that saves me a fortune. Mustn't grumble really, and if I did no one would hear me
Got the fire blazing and its lovely and warm, just switched the girls lights and heat lamps on. Will be above freezing (just) tonight, but its been cold and foggy all day, plus they've been swimming, so think its called for.
Deags is the main worry this Christmas I think. Thank goodness Joel has been well behaved for Lynn over Christmas because she's been on a merry go round of visitors and beds, she must be dizzy
Defrosted chicken carcasses for the girls tea, shows how cold it is, I took them out last night before I went to bed, and found there are only 4 of them, grrrr...so have found an odd dinosaur bone and its on a radiator getting defrosted.

Read the write up and thought it was the one that was on a day or so ago. Absolutely rock all really on telly over Christmas, everything has been on several times before, I think with so many channels available now there should be some new films on at least.
Not even Corrie on tonight, Harry Potter, again.
G.O.T for me tonight, thank goodness son bought me series 4.

griff big hugs.
Moyra I think most things on 3 are repeats.
June hope the car parts do not end up to expensive.

We went to the shopping village this afternoon after getting rid of loads of wrapping paper from christmas.
Bought a few bits from the M&S outlet store and a nice t.shirt from gap even cheaper than the 40% off.
It is freezing here and the fog is horrendous messaged Mark to warn him about it and he said it's the same in Herts. Him and Joel are travelling back in it. Mark is a sensible driver it's others I worry about.
Having bubble and squeak for tea with cold home cooked ham. Managed to get a potato ricer in the sale in Denby's so trying that in a bit.
Michael got to Spain eventually they were understaffed on the check in. So everyone was held up and had to take later flights so he didn't fl at 6.30 as planned. They got on plane eventually then there was another hold up, after that the crew thought someone was looking suspicious and he was escorted off the plane so then all the luggage had to come off to be re-checked and his removed. Or anything thought to be suspicious removed.
Thank goodness the crew were vigilant. So they all drove to the resort today.

OMG that is scary Lynn. Going on holiday and having to deal with suspicious people and luggage taken off. Even when you are there, lay on the beach, you have to worry about some nutter running amok with a gun
Sounds like you've had a pretty peaceful day all in all, you needed it after the hectic time over Christmas.
Very cold here now, girls have already taken themselves off to bed under their lamps, no need to send them in at all.
Its all going to be expensive Lynn, but without tyres, brakes and exhaust I am pretty much marooned, so it will have to be done
