What you do is, you get a small dog and it either never goes out, just goes slowly insane from boredom and yaps all day... or you stick it on your bit of string and drag it to the park to bark at other dogs.

Dog food is all the same.

The dog doesn't like being walked in the rain (or certain types of weather)

It's ok to give them the odd table scraps of junk food

Misbehaving dogs shouldn't be rewarded with a walk O_o

Rescue dogs are dangerous due to a possible abusive past

I agree with whoever said not every dog needs/wants a walk every day. That's not an excuse, but there were days when walking my grandmothers old springer would really have caused her to suffer on a stiff day, and she's rather have a sedate game in the garden.

I don't think clicker training works for every dog

I don't think crate training works for every dog

I've no issue with feeding 'lesser' dog foods if they suit the dog, and i'd never personally feed raw.

If you wouldn't let a german shepherd do it you shouldn't let your JRT do it.

I think that's a dangerous statement - definitely a way to put people off getting a rescue
