Will be thinking of you tomorrow. Georgie is beautiful and he's had such a wonderful home with you.

Sometimes it's just so damn hard to do the right thing.

Big hugs Helena and for Dave too. Bless him, trying to be strong and hiding the tears is so very hard.

The strength will come for you tomorrow so that you can be there to ease Georgie's passing especially as we will all be standing right by your side to hold your hand xx.

Thinking of you all today H. I woke up at about 5am and just couldn't get back to sleep for thinking of how you will be feeling this morning xxxx

Give that gorgeous Georgie a huge bear hug from me, and have one for yourself too.

xxx

Not a lot to say this morning Just wanted to thank you all for your kind thoughts for us today, coz we're both in bits as you can well imagine. I soooo wish I could change my mind, but how can you do that when you know you are doing right. I haven't seen Dave like this since we lost our first gsd, and of course, he's got worse to come, but I'm trying so very hard to treat this as just another day, otherwise, my strength will go and I won't be able to be there and I must, I really must be there for Georgie, no matter what state I'm in, he will understand.

Dave is coming home from work at 10.30 so he can stay home with Zena, whilst I sneak out with Georgie around the back and get him into the car. I wish I could stop off and give him a little plod around the green, but I just can't risk it, or maybe I can, I'll see how he is getting into the car.

It's all very quiet here this morning, Georgie is zonked out right across the middle of the kitchen, we're stepping over him as we always have, I will soooooo miss that, it's like having a pony living indoors with you, he's so big! Zena hasn't grabbed her ball at all this morning, I'm sure she's picked up on these sad vibes from us, but I'll get her out in a minute and take her mind off things, same as I will when I get back from the vets later. This is going to be a big blow to her as well as us, as she's never known any different than coming home and launching herself at old Georgie to get him to play, or just to lie down next to him

I feel sick, shaky, and oh so very sad at what lies ahead this morning, but I will think of you all as I'm crouched down on the floor holding Georgie's hand and stroking his head. I just hope he goes as peacefully as Cassie die for me, as that will confirm to me, it's the right time for him. He's so used to me stroking his head to get him off to sleep nowadays, that I'm sure he will go off like a baby, bless his little cotton socks.

Thanks for helping me through as always.xxxxxx
