I expect you are getting loads of PM's etc so just to say it sounds very positive information from the vets and remember just because you see a specialist does not mean that you have to follow their advice Rocky is your dog and having a proactive approach to his wellbeing - changing to raw reducing his medication etc shows you are willing and able to adapt to his condition.

Sounds very positive to me. Hope all goes well.

Just had a call from the specialist and we're booked in to see them next week - it's the new Vet Specialist Hospital in Somerset, Cave Vet Specialists http://www.cave-vet-specialists.co.uk/index.html

Good luck ith the specialist Azz.

Took a peek at the link it looks excelelnt not unlike where Ollie was referred although that is a vet school. But the care and the time they take is amazing and the after care second to none. It looks like rocky will have a similar experience judging by what I have read.
