I hope milo is better soon, now you have treatment for him, as you say getting him to take the tablets is a different mater altogether though

Very glad to hear he is back home, so sorry he has been unwell

Poor lad, hope he feels better soon. Try hiding the tablets in tasty morsels of food like cheese, liver etc - give him a couple of bits without the tablet in then one with, he probably will be slavering so much for the next titbit he won't notice it's in there!:smt002

Get well soon Milo

The Zantac is in liquid form so I have to syringe it in. It would be easy with my big girl as there is more to hold to keep her still but Milo is little very fast and like a slippery snake

Glad to hear Milo's a bit better. Try mixing that medicine in with some live yoghurt, give him a bit of the yoghurt on a small plate first, then the next dollop will have the medicine in and he won't know! OR, you could possibly split his meals into 3 and mix it in with the food each time? I too would check the mg's for the iron tabs, that does sound a lot, but double check what you've read on the tesco one just to make sure!! All the best with little milo.

He has to have the Zantac liquid on its own before his meals so that it can go down and coat his insides first before any food starts to move down so can't put it with anything else unfortunatly.
Phoned vet today again about iron tablet strength and he does need 200mg so he has ordered them in for me and I'm collecting them tomorrow.
Thankyou for all your good wishes everyone your an amazing supportive lot of people.
