Hello and Welcome
I would say he is neither pure lakeland or patterdale, he looks like he may have some JR in his background but what ever he is made up of he is rather cute!

Very cute puppy! Can I ask if the pup was from a rescue or a breeder? If a breeder why did only get to see Mum for such a short time?

the person i got him from a person that stays down the road which has got a lot of dogs terriers, lurchers and another dog which i have no idea what it is, he just breeds his dogs just so he can sell them, which i think i terrible, the mum of the pup wasnt in the house when i went to get the pup but came in once i was going away, also the person said that he was a smooth haired lakeland

He is very probably a lakie, working bred Lakies are totally different to show bred ones, their heads are broader and their coat does not grow anywhere near as long as a show bred one. The only other breed I would say is Border terrier. lakie cross border is a common cross for a working Terrier. he's a nice pup but please be aware he will need very careful training as his working instincts will be VERY strong.
Dawn.

thanks for your message, i have noticed that when sebo heres the slightist noise hes up standing looking about or if he sees another dog all he wants to do is go after it. we have 2 other dogs and he seems to think hes bigger than them by growling and biting them to show them that hes the boss
