No not at all... hardly makes any noise.. just a wee quiet chirp from time to time when he wants out of his cage.. or when ya talk to him... he's a pretty cool wee dude

He's Claires.. just got him yesterday, she's wanted one for ages so I got her one coz it's almost her birthday. He's hardly left my shoulder since I got him
