Hallowe'en with your dogs?

Ok, here's the gag,

I want to find somewhere I can get, or find out how to make, a costume for the dogs - also need ideas for what sort of costume to make them so that we can go 'trick or treating' but not quite...

I'm hoping to fundraise for dalmatian welfare by taking the dogs out on Hallowe'en night.

Do you think it's a bad idea in case the doors we knock on have dogs behind them? Or if people are afraid of dogs?

What do you think?

Depending wether anyone else is walking with you, ask the dogless person to knock on the door whilst anyone with dogs stands back. I'm sure the person knocking on the door can explain about the fundraising

I hope you do well

sounds a fantastic idea Lottie - I'm sure Pet Planet had halloween costumes for dogs? But yeah I'd get someone to go with you that way you can keep a safe distance until you ascertain whether there are any other pets around! Good luck and let's see some pix!

Our 2 wore devils horns and black capes last year only to answer the door mind i don't know who was more scared the kids in their outfits or seeing 2 great danes come to the window with horns! haha

We love anything like that and decorate outside the house i just wish more parents would let them come but alas in todays society

Just be careful if there are fireworks being let off around the area - and remember to take a picture so we can see what they look like!!

remember to get them used to wearing the costumes before the night, otherwise you will spend half the time sorting out the stuff that they knock off themselves!!!
