If SB could read this now, what would you say?

If you could get a message to SB - what would you say? I know there was lots I wanted to say but didn't or lots I wanted to repeat - just so she knew how special she was.

I'm going to try in this thread. If anyone else wants to as well please feel free to.

I would say thankyou for the invaluable advice you gave me SB, not just on dogs but on life in general! You were very supportive yet straight when i came to you seeking advice about my inpending situation to let Polly go, you were more helpful than you could have imagined. You made dogsey what it is, you were a pillar of our online society and one that i don't think we will ever be able to operate fully in the "old way" without, again. A person that allways remained lvel and polite, despite the cirumstances. Truly a woman that could never be replaced on dogsey, and in our hearts.
It will be strange without you to turn too now, strange not to be able to say "as usual, great advice SB, and more strange yet, without you here.
Whether dogsey stays the same as before i do not know...but one thing was for sure, you were one of the wisest and most compassionate people i have ever "met" and dogsey without you will be most VERY strange.

thankyou for being you.
For always giving great advice
for always being diplomatic and honest
for the love you clearly had for all dogs
for all the lovely comments you made about my monster
for all your wonderful inputs

Lesley - you would never have realised what an impact you had on us all and our dogs, and we have only come to truly appreciate it now and feel your loss instantly.

i thought of you as the Dogweb matriarch and I know many others did too.

Infact the title Matriarch suits you well:

A matriarch or clan-mother or 'chief' is a mother, or other female person in a family who is responsible for the well-being of the clan or kinship.

The term is usually applied to the oldest female in an extended family, who by virtue of her position has a degree of granted authority because others have trust in her.

In many matriarchal societies she is responsible mainly for distributing food and also she can be the shaman of the clan.

you will be sorely missed
with love

Thankyou for all the advice you have given me and everyone, it was always spot on! And thankyou for the kind words and support when I lost Brandie. You always treated each Dogsey member as an equal no matter how old or new and were always just "there".

What a shock for us all

xx

You can never be gone when so much of you remains. Your advice and assurance and just the essential, kind, you.
A role model to aspire to.

Thank you for being there and helping me with Jas when we lost Tam1

Your support was very much appreciated and you were strong for us. You gave us the best advice possible when we couldn't think straight and gave me a good sharp kick up the backside but without being harsh or judgemental.

Thank you SB, we will miss you but we know that you are in your own little heaven with all your's and our doggy pals. Take care of them and teach that Tam1 some manners for goodness sake

Miss you loads

Nae & family xxxxx
