Norman & Peter - Cockatiel and Budgie!

We've been out this morning and bought Norman and Peter a nice new cage and toys, they both seem happy, Norman the cockatiel is very friendly sits on my shoulder and as soon as my hand goes into the cage he sits on it, Peter I'm letting him approach me, I'm hoping his squaking is worse than his bite but he's an old chap and I don't want to upset him

Here they are in their new home:

Thanks Jessica for letting us have them, we'll take good care of them both!

you so lucky! I wanted them!

I want a cockateil as we have kept them before but dad has decided (after he was the one that wanted a bird in the first place) that they are too noisy

Anyway, I don't think I'd have been allowed because we have two cats and mum and dad have only just agreed to a puppy, I may be pushing it a bit with a bird too!

They are quite vocal, but with 9 dogs and 4 children here, I don't think one budgie and one cockatiel is going to make much difference......lol.

It's ok Louie, 3 pups will be gone in a couple of weeks, then I'll be back to my 6, eldest daughter has just got herself a summer job before starting college in September, so I can see light at the end of the tunnel now.........and hopefully get some peace!

Wow, lovely new cage! Lucky Norman and Peter!!

If you put your hand in the cage and tell Peter to 'Step Up' firmly he will do it He doesn't have a very painful bite anyway, and once the cockatiel is out of the cage he always steps up to be with him! They do like to sit on heads though...
