What breed of dog is this?

Saw this pic in a different forum but topic did not mention what breed of dog it is . Does anyone know ? Because I really like this type or dog lol.
If you do know , would you also happen tp know the price range on one or if I can find them in rescue??

Thanks

Its a big slobbery one !
It looks like one of the Mastiff breeds.

have you owned dogs before?
you really need to do your research about these dogs.
They are livestock guarding dogs and very strong.

I looked up mastiff breeds but there's so many lol. Some of them look so similar but completely different breed. I messaged the person who owns the dog in the pic but no response. I like the exact breed in the pic.

Also I've owned a lab before but she passed away a long time ago . But I do have that experience raising a pup.
Most of my family also owns dogs that I sometimes look after.

I just never seen a dog like this in my day to day life so I have no idea what it is.
Is it rare or something ? Or is it just too aggressive to own so no one has it ??

Hey guys, a little update here.
I did manage to get a hold of the owner finally and yeah the breed is English mastiff.

It's great know this but at the same time after answering some of my questions about the breed I'm kinda discouraged to go for one it sucks because it's beautiful and based on my research, seems like the type of breed that would work well with my lifestyle.

It's the financial cost that gets me. Buying one seems to be very pricy and its probably hard to find them in rescues. The owner also mentioned that the pup in the pic is only 6 months but already weighs over 100 pounds and eats 10 cups of food a day . And that number will continue to go up . That's a lot of money on food alone.
It seems like the cost is just significantly higher compared to raising smaller breeds.

As much as I love that dog, it might just be too much dog for me haha.

Edit: just found out its actually the largest dog breed there is . Definitely not good for me lol

yeh, he is an English Bull Mastiff, one hell of a dog and a half. Beautiful but a commitment beyond most peoples range.

That's very sensible of you .

I have two small dogs and the biggest expense is vet fees.

Can't disagree with that.
