Secret Santa 2013!!

I have agreed to organise Dogsey’s Secret Santa this year! And as there are only 36 sleeps until Christmas I need to do this fast!

SS has been a great success on Dogsey the last few years. If you’ve not taken part before, this is how it works:

- You send me a Direct Thread answering the questions below by Sunday 24th November
- I will reply to your direct thread to let you know who to buy a present for.
- You buy a gift up to the value of £5 and get it posted by the dates detailed below.
- Your dog/s will receive a gift from Secret Santa to open on Christmas day!

Secret Santa Rules
• £5 per present + p&p
• You must be able to purchase and post your gift by Friday 13th Dec for UK, Friday 6th December for overseas (please get proof of posting from post office).
• You will be matched with someone else with the same number of dogs. So if you would like your three dogs to take part, you will in turn have to buy presents for 3 dogs.
• You must keep it secret!

If you would like your dog/s to join in, please send me a Direct Thread titled "FAO Secret Santa" and at the bottom under the text box, tick where it says "Only show to a specific user" and put my username, Tessabelle.

In the thread, please tell me:

- Your Name
- Post address
- Name of each dog you would like to take part and their age
- Their individual likes and/or dislikes, including anything that they absolutely love or cannot have
- Whether or not you would be prepared to post internationally
- Anything else you think may be relevant! for example, breed/size/weight of dogs
- If you have more than one dog, say whether you would be willing to post to more than one person (just in case we can't match you up with someone with the same number of dogs)

If there is anything you think I may have forgotten, or if you have any questions or suggestions/feedback from last year, let me know.

How to post a Direct Thread

Simply start a new thread in ‘Direct Threads’ in the ‘YOUR SECTIONS (all non dog related)’ section of the forum. Under the thread options category, click on Only show this thread to a specific user - then in the box enter my username. Then submit the thread as usual. Only you and I, Azz and the mods will be able to see it, keeping everything secret and secure.

Ready? Set? GO!

That would be lovely! There's not much time for people to send their details and a daily bump will really help make sure no one misses their chance. Thank you Malka

Yaaaaay!!
You are such a hero, Tessabelle

Would breeds/size/weight of dogs be a good idea for people to add on their threads?
Wouldn't want to be buying a chihuahua sized toy for mastiff
