Loved the first series and am loving the second.A rather charmed life for those upstairs...but lots of fun, and Dame Maggie Smith is priceless!Glad you have discovered it!

Loving it, although so far, I do prefer the first series, but maybe this one will improve as time goes on, but I'm definitely hooked.

I'm another downton abbey fan, as soon as i hear the music i'm sat down with my cup of tea and posh biscuits.
Well you have to keep up standards.

We like it too We managed to see the first and second series in correct order and now on the third which is shaping up nicely.

I did have to smile when I saw that the BBC have put their 'competing series' (The Paradise) on a Tuesday night. Sound recording much worse, story line poor, and all filmed on set. Downton Abbey is far superior and the outside shots are wonderful.
