Jet - 11 year old male Patterdale Terrier
Jet, Patterdale Terrier, DOB 2000 - Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire
Homing Requirements: Jet needs a retirement home which could be as an only dog or in with others. At 12 years old his new owners must have means to secure his welfare in his coming years. Secure garden. He has lived with 2 cats and would settle with relaxed dog friendly cats again. Could live with terrier savvy children. Great for a first time terrier home.
His Story: Jet's owner passed away and his daughter is paying a dog sitter until his home is found. Fostered with a 7 year old child, an elderly Spaniel and transient dogs. He has just had a full dental, MOT, is neutered and fully vax'd.
Advert: Jet is the perfect Pattie and comes jet propelled. 12 years young so doesn't come with a zimmer frame! He hardly a grey hair to be seen! Adorable and as adoring as they come! Jet still has his hearing and vision and was twice a day in the fields opposite his house off lead, enjoyed shopping trips, car boot sales, parks, mixing with other dogs and ' Life'. A well mannered terrier, housetrained and a sofa surfer, so needs a home where he is allowed to lounge! Not barky and can be left. Fostered in with other dogs, occasional low growl on introductions but goes unnoticed, then settles and accepts new friends.
Jet is a jet black Patterdale with an auburn beard. Classic Pattie and such a great dog who has slowed very slightly with age! Terriers are Christmas puddings they get better with age! He loves kids and "this week was in the garden with three mischievous kids who covered him in yoghurt". He lived with two cats and four ferrets but would need dog savvy cats. He is a very good companion and very loving. Partial to the odd cream cake!
