I'm going to be a bridesmaid!!

At the grand old age of *ahem* I'm going to be a bridesmaid for the first time!!

Two of my mates are getting married in October and I get to wear a big fluffy dress for the first (and probably last) time - hurrah!

They're not on DW, but congratulations to them anyway!! (can you tell I'm chuffed to bits?)

Thanks It's about time they got their act together though.

The surname's Warburton, so I'm expecting plenty of reception speeches about buns in ovens!

I'm not into frilly dresses either, but I don't mind wearing something ridiculous for a day It's not as if you get away with that kind of attire just to pop down to Tescos so it'll be a bit of a novelty!

I'll try and steer her gently in the right direction but I really don't mind what she picks - I've been to too many weddings where everyone else seems to dictate what happens (who's invited, what the colours are etc) and the actual couple end up trying to please everyone else

I won't, so I'm thinking of investing in a matching balaclava
