I have a Miele Power Plus 5000 2200watts and it's fab, it's now about 5 years old and still going strong as is the one before which was an s600 which is now used just for the cars etc and lives in the garage. The cost of bags is a tad high but I tend to buy them in bulk from e spares.

Miele for me too. Have heard great things about them, couldn't afford one myself but if I could that would be the one I would chose.

I've had a Mieli and wouldn't get one again unless they bring out a bagless version. I worked out I was spending the cost of the Mieli every year in bags !.
I have a Dyson Ball now and it's been great, I think it does a better job than the Mieli too.

My mum has the Miele and swears by it. She had a Dyson before but prefers the Miele. She has a very heavy shedding lab so needs a good vacuum!

I have a Miele Cat and Dog which is several years old now, 1989 if I remember correctly, fantastic. Consistently comes first in Which? magazine.

Miele Cat and Dog here too - I think it's brilliant. We had a Dyson before. I prefer the Miele.
