if it should be that i grow weak
and pain should keep me from my sleep,

for this last battle cant be won.

weve had so many happy years,

although my tail, its last has waved

So sorry, Helena, to hear about the lovely Georgie. Heartbreaking news.

Thanks all. We've found a state of peace within now, purely since we've got him back home in his little box, where he has pride of place on the mantlepiece.

Zena is slowly coming to terms, she rarely looks for him now, although she's very jumpy and seems to be on high alert in the evenings at the slightest sound, but maybe that's because she has realised she is now head of security, who knows.

The best news is, we've just left her for 4 hours and I know she just slept through it because of the big dip in her freshly made up bed, and although she went berserk when we came home, she isn't stressed in the slightest, but then I did put in a lot of practice over the past few months knowing what lay ahead with the old boy.

Of course I still miss him terribly, never a day goes by when I don't have something that reminds me of his great presence here, I miss my hugs with him more than anything, but like I said, I really do feel so much better now that he's back home where he belongs.

Thankyou to all of you again, for getting me through one of the worst times of my life, coz for me, there is nothing worse than losing another furbaby, and there's been a few now.xxxxxx

I've only just seen this as I don't come on here very often at the moment I'm so sorry H, I'll miss hearing all about Georgie and I hope he's having lots of fun with Cassie now they're together again!
