Doc Martin

Just now waiting for the appearance on Doc Martin of the 15 cats and one kitten I organised! What a fun couple of days

The parrot and butterfly have been on previous episodes but this was the big one!

No---they finished filming ages ago.

Dogs were for someone else.

They still want mastiffs.

My Sister-in-law and her husband live in the village Doc Martin is filmd in; Port Isaac. They say the film crew and actors are very nice but it does take over the village somewhat but I guess it is good for tourism as this is the main employment in Cornwall.

The village have supporting stickers all over the place. They do have a one person who puts various things in their way---she made it difficult to film the very first scene. It does take over totally but as you say it is great for the tourist industry---not to mention the locals they employ----including us!

That was Paul the rescue kitten. Really laid back and they shot for over 2 hours with him. He was a star.

I have lined up younger kittens cause they thought he would be too big but when they saw him they fell for him and I cancelled the other two younger ones---which was lucky cause they wouldn't have coped like he did.

I think it helped that the director was called Paul as well

Here he is working

This is what was going on around him

Here he is chilling between takes
