Who else thought the handlers were shocking last night (crufts)

I couldn't believe watching Crufts last night how most of the handlers looked like they were struggling, most of the dogs looked like they were choking, none except for the Flat Coat Retriever and poss the Italian water dog looked happy to be there...I thought the handlers were absolutely shocking, the only people who looked confident with the dogs movement were the smaller breeds, I was quite dissapointed

Never mind, you dont have to watch again, but if you really want to see some diabolical handling, come tomorrow and watch the Bull terriers! Im sure you know what I mean.

I appear to have missed all the points you saw.................................. must get my eyes checked.

It was the end of a VERY long day for the gundogs, have you actually ever handled a dog at this level?

I saw a couple of people looking very tense and it reflected on their dogs, I think. Especially the GSP. And one guy seemed to have a habit of almost flapping his hand in his dogs face when he wanted to move off. Not sure what that was about. Perhaps they were a bit stressed?

Precisely why I don't watch it/attend anymore. It's become more than just a dog show.

the only thing i noticed with the handling was the handlers getting in between the dog and the judge! quite a few did it, it really gets on my nerves, only because at training i get it drilled into my head so much not to get in between dog and judge!!
