Class 12 ~ Best Gundog AV

Welcome to the 2011 Class for

GUNDOG AV

Your Judge for this class is Dogsey member

CavalierCrazy

Entry to this class is open to all breeds of Gun Dogs owned by any Dogsey members, whether your dog is Pedigree paper`ed, or not, working or not, registered or not, rescue or not, all dogs within the UK KC breeds list under Gundog Group can be entered in this class.

For anyone not familiar with showing at all, AV means Any Variety of dog within a Group [ Gundog, Terrier, Hound etc ].

Details of relevant eligible Gundog breeds and their size categories are here :

Kennel Club Gundog Group

Entries for this class should be of dogs over the age of 6 months.

For this Class you may enter TWO photos :

one in a show pose (side on) or as near as you can get.
the 2nd photo is to suport the first and can be a head shot, a shot to show your dog's gait or any other photo which will help the judge decide.

`Show Pose` can be free standing or stacked.
Examples of what to aim for in terms of poses can be seen

Here
and
Here

You may need a friend or family member to take the pic for you, [ unless free standing ], or you can have someone else stand the dog while you take the pic, so long as the photographer is not a professional as per the general rules of entry here

Virtual Companion Show FAQ

Don`t worry if your dog doesn't stand `just so`, the main thing is to enter a nice clear side-on pic of the dog standing up and it does`nt matter if its indoors or outside, but preferably not on a formal `showing table`

but don`t include any identifying faces of handler - as gorgeous as you owners are, its your dogs we want to see

In this particular class :

You can enter more than one dog, but only two photos per dog.

]HOW TO SUBMIT YOUR ENTRIES

Please do not post your entries in this thread - they will be moved from the 'post entries here' section for you
