Our 1st Dryland mushing video

Elroy and myself have taken up dryland mushing a few months ago and we are both loving it. My fiance bought us an action camera which we dubbed Hell Cam (Elroy is often called Hell Boy by us). So at the weekend we stuck it on the handlebars of the scooter to film the action.

It's a bit wobbley but wonderful and shows that any dog can enjoy mushing, not just the nordic breeds.

It's the Manmat Soft Universal harness. Cos Hell boy is small and the point of pulling is above, I didn't want pressure on his stomach, so went for this. I also use it attached to a bungee lead around my waist for walking. I find it works well for him.

Mushing is addictive isn't it? Hell Boy seems to love it just as much as I do and loves to get going.

I use the Pawtrekker scooter, I like the fact it has a brushbow on it to help prevent the line tangling with the wheel.

Do you canicross at all? I'm looking for recommendations for a belt. (Though I'll be walking/hiking more than running.)

Thank you.
We went out last week with a fellow musher and her husky. He did so well, concentrated on his job and no trying to mess (which I thought he might do). She was well impressed at how well he pulls and just wants to keep going.

I'm careful though to end the session well before he's had enough and too tired in order to keep him keen.
