Thanks to Hali for allowing me to judge this group

Well my goodness what a difficult task that was, Me and the boys have read and re-read all the entrants stories. I have shed I don't know how many tears of sadness and joy. The pictures were all gorgeous. I have judged on a combination of the write ups and pictures.

Every single one of these dogs could have won, they are all winners in my mind I just didn't have enough rosettes

I can't imagine what some of these poor dogs have been through and as for those people who allowed these dogs to suffer, well words fail me. To those who have rescued these doggies a massive pat on the back. I am sure you are rewarded everyday.

Here are the results

1st place went to this lovely lady, she looks so realxed and happy chilling in the sun, its hard to imagine that 12 years ago she was so badly injured. Well done you are truly amazing and an inspiration to all

2nd place her story started so young at 5 weeks being abused by kids her tail cut off but just look at her now stunning girl and a lovely shiny coat and looking at her panting there obviously enjoying life to the full

3rd another older lady, she looks so proud wearing her rosettes there. Tossed away to die then passed from place to place but home now in her forever home. Beautiful

From a nightmare to a dream girl, just goes to show that with commiment and dedication most dogs can overcome their problems. She looks stunning inbetween those daffodills. What a gorgeous smile she has

5th goes to this gorgeous cutiepie, 3 C-sections poor girl an ex breeding girl no longer required. She looks gorgeous chilling on her blankie

Everytime I scrolled through the thread this boys big brown puppy eyes always caught my attention. They were saying pick me pick me lol. So here you go handsome boy well done you sound a very loving boy

Through everything he has been through he still has no malice to humans he was covered in sores and scared half to death when he was found, this boy is learning to trust people now. The fact he had played with a toy the day he was posted on here just bought a tear to my.....well several. Well done all involved with this boy

This tiny girl was left in a shed, she has lost both her eyes but still manages to hunt for mice and most importantly is happy what a lovely girl she is obviously resting here after chasing mice
