Best Rescue post 16

Two years ago I saw the most darling of little faces on a rescue web site .So sad --so bewildered . She had the most expressive ears that stuck out at right angles .A tiny four year old ex -breeding Yorkie who had already had three cesareans. She had passed her usefulness so no longer needed by the greedy breeder she was sent to the rescue. Her only crime was that all the puppies were dead this time ! She was so very scared of everything. She showed her fear by simply crouching down and trying to make herself as small and as invisible as possible. Any sudden movement , any loud noise --she flattened herself to the ground.
, She found comfort from my other two small dogs and slowly and surely she watched as they clamoured around me for titbits and the biggest joy was when she took one from my hand too.
