Best Rescue post 6

He was used as a racer and ran a lot of races for whoever his owners were, even after injury. Despite winning his last race, he was discarded. Somehow he ended up in a pound on his last chance and was saved by a greyhound rescue. We were given the opportunity to have this beautiful boy. Sadly a lot of black boys get over-looked, but they shouldn’t be...this boy is a stunner, the light of my life.

He came to me when I was having a dark period and lifted me out; he is my reason for getting up every day. He’s a sweet and sensitive boy, still scared of men, but learning to trust slowly. He is learning to play and is comical and loves ear rubs and hugs. Without the rescue he’d be dead like so many other dogs – a horrendous thought. He's my boy.

No problem - there have been a few that have because I said not to include their name (meaning in their story).

Thanks
