This little lady came from an abusive house hold where she was treated more like a toy than a living creature.
She had a few issues when we first took her on, but with time and love she has grown into a perfect family pet.
Im pleased/proud to have given such a wonderful girl and second chance in life and a forever home.

This beautiful girl was dumped out onto the streets and brought to a shelter where she narrowly escaped euthanasia. She’s a BBD, you see (a Big Black Dog), and despite being well-behaved and utterly gorgeous, no one wanted her. Luckily a rescue agreed to take her in. I met her on the transport across country and fell in love. How could I not? She’s now been with us for two years and she is the most loved and cherished of dogs. She has become a confident, sweet companion who lives for her belly rubs, squeaky toys, games of chase, and her tug toys. I honestly cannot imagine what my life was like before her! Her former owner’s loss was certainly our very wonderful gain.

She was given to us 4 years ago, about to go back to rescue for her 3rd time. We have been inseparable ever since. Her past was an unhappy one, she was dumped by the side of a motorway left for dead, then re-homed and returned, re-homed again to be abused by her male owner, given to a friend to be looked after then left, and finally with us where she will stay for the rest of her days. She has been passed around so often, her age was lost. We were advised she was 7, by a vet 5, to find through microchip details she was at least 13! She has come on leaps and bounds from her anxiety ridden male aggressive previous self, to a loyal loving member of our family. She is my special girl; I can’t imagine my life without her.

Previously a working farm dog by the looks of it, she was kept on a farm with another 8 or so dogs of both sexes, none of which neutered. It appears she has had pups already despite being only 2! Her previous diet was also questionable, scraps, chips and prawn crackers the night we collected her. Her previous owners also didn’t appear to have any knowledge of dog mentality. Their answer to getting a nervous dog to come out their safe zone (under the table) was hitting a chair in front of her face. She is a very nervous dog who wouldn’t even lie down to sleep when we first got her, however she is becoming more confident every day and is unrecognizable from her former self when we re-homed her 5 months ago. She loves her cuddle time

He was used as a racer and ran a lot of races for whoever his owners were, even after injury. Despite winning his last race, he was discarded. Somehow he ended up in a pound on his last chance and was saved by a greyhound rescue. We were given the opportunity to have this beautiful boy. Sadly a lot of black boys get over-looked, but they shouldn’t be...this boy is a stunner, the light of my life.

He came to me when I was having a dark period and lifted me out; he is my reason for getting up every day. He’s a sweet and sensitive boy, still scared of men, but learning to trust slowly. He is learning to play and is comical and loves ear rubs and hugs. Without the rescue he’d be dead like so many other dogs – a horrendous thought. He's my boy.

We found this handsome boy, aged 3, laying in the back of his kennel quietly watching the world go by in the local dog rescue. He was found as a stray, and his his owners did not come forward, they had not bothered to microchip him and it transpired that he had never even worn a collar. It appears he had been hit on his back end by a vehicle or person, having a great fear of his back end being touched. He has turned out to be an absolutely perfect boy in every way. Forever grateful, forever wanting cuddles, he muzzles his head into our neck and paws at us. He gives the best cuddles.

Found as a stray in Ireland and brought over to Evesham during the worst of last Winter's weather. He was thin and depressed with appalling skin and other medical issues. This elderly chap has the sweetest nature imaginable, in spite of everything that he has been through.

An aggressive nightmare from Vigil GSD Rescue who has become my best friend - this wild child charms all who meet her, and now has a loyal number of fans who she has trained to throw her Ballie for her - preferably into water.
It took 3 years of blood sweat and tears to reclaim this girlie, with the help of a dedicated trainer and a lot of cooked liver.
From a poor start in an ignorant and uncaring home that turned a pup into a troubled, dangerous and unpredictable bitch, she has blossomed into a credit to the breed who brings a smile to the face of passers by as she flirts her blonde locks and gently teases them with her Ballie.
She does everything I ask of her, and makes me happy.

Taken in as a stray, rescued from an Irish Pound just before he was put down, put into Rescue then transported to England by Allbreeds, fostered for a while... then posted on a Rescue forum. This boy was a bag of nerves who growled in fear when anyone touched his back or bent over him.
He is now a laid-back, happy boy who points at pheasants and scents rabbits, plays with his doggy friends and really really loves his dinners.
