Best Veteran - The Winners

Well I won't deny that I found this incredibly hard. I have a huge soft spot for the oldies and would like to have put them all through.

These are the ones that really stood out to me though, for various reasons -

1st place goes to this gorgeous girl, who is the epitome of growing old gracefully.


2nd place is for the dog that really makes me want to lie down and cuddle up to her.


3rd place is for a dog that has such an incredibly youthful, playful expression. Nearly 14 years old and still loving that ball.


4th place is for the dog that is grinning from ear to ear, nothing is bothering this dog, especially not the fact that she's nearly 14!


5th place is for a dude with 'tude ''stamping her feet and woo woo'ing''. Love it.


6th place - 12 years old and has such a gorgeous ''play with me'' face. Fabulous looking coat too.


I then had to award a few specials. There were so many to chose from but there was just something about these two.

Special - Just an adorable old chap who is certainly making the most of being at the grand old age of 19!


Special - I can just picture this adorable 14 year old pup barking at the moon like a loon. Fabulous.


Well done everyone and thank you very much Hali for letting me have a turn at judging. I really enjoyed it and was grateful to be able to do it for one of my favourite categories.

Well done everyone and your wonderful oldies! Dylan says a great big thank you for his award and want's to know if that means he can eat Lily's birthday presents now!!!

The old man who owned Rusty will be thrilled---I will print it out for Wednesday when I hope to take Rusty to visit him.
