Mouth Ulcers again....

Hi
My neighbour has a cocker spaniel (8 yrs) - she suffers with recurrent mouth ulcers for which the vet keeps prescribing antib's - and more recently, anti-inflammatory Rimadyl(?) - nothing seems to work. She is in pain with them and doesnt want to eat sometimes. Anyone have experience or tips/herbal or other on how to help?

could be a vitamin deficiency.... I think you can get vitamin supplements at pet shops... she could try these and see if it makes a difference.... I know vitamin deficiency in humans can lead to mouth ulcers... so why not in dogs? Worth a try....?
