Sheep, Cows, Hens & Alpacas

A few pics to get the section started!

Here are a selection of the animals we care for here on the farm. I would dearly love to add a Shire or Clydesdale or even a Highland pony at some point, but think we have enough going on for now ...

Wonderful pics, i adore the highland cows and hope one day to own a few of my own...how lucky are you, im so envious looks a wonderful life!

Here is another pic especially for you then Tink I love the Highlands too, they have a real sense of fun - but can be blooming wild and crazy too, so it is wise to always be on your guard around them. After all, those horns are sharp!

LOL they are all totaly lovely!!
Do you sell the alpaca fleece?? I use lots of different fibers to felt with, I have only had a little alpaca in the past but I know some people say it is fab!

The alpacas were a Christmas present from the boss to his wife a year last Christmas. Hubby had to shear them last summer and their fleeces were sent away to be made into a luxury rug for the big house

Not too bad. Obviously my OH does most of the hard work (ie the dosing, jagging, lambing and clipping) but I am always on hand to help out. I love it!

I just find them really comical. I have some very funny photos that we took of them for a school project for Wills, that I will post later on.
