My beloved cat Holly
I had to let my lovely cat Holly go on the 10th of October.
It was very difficult as he was only seven and a half and looked healthy, happy and still full of life but there was only a slim chance of him recovering limb movement and a high chance of a (saddle) thrombus reoccuring so we decided it would be best if he enjoyed his last day healthy and bright eyed never having suffered a day of sickness in his life apart from those last few days.
I reminded him of all we did when I was a child and told him that I loved him, and that we'd meet again sometime in the future.
He was my eleventh birthday present and a cat I trained to sit, give paw, walk on a lead and even play piano. He caught many a rabbit and pigeon and had a thoroughly happy active life in the fields of Anglesey, then Cheshire.
He is very much missed, especially by Polo
but I know the right decision was made.
I could write so much more .
Bye bye Holly baby xxx
